Green Sawfly

From our summer holiday last year: a green sawfly, probably of the Rhogogaster viridis group (Hymenoptera: Tenthrediinidae).  The black markings on the thorax are less heavy than in the R. viridis that I have seen before (see here and here).

Sawfly

From back last spring: a Tenthredinid sawfly, probably a female Tenthredo maculata (Hymenoptera: Tenthredinidae).

I say it is probably a female because in male T. maculata the yellow abdominal  band is much larger (see near the foot of this page at Alain Ramel's Les Insectes site).

Black Fungus

A black fungus, probably Exidia glandulosa, on a twig of a fallen oak tree.  Exidia nigricans (= Exidia plana) is similar but, according to Wikipedia, tends to be more coalesced into a single amorphous mass.
