Sawfly

From back last spring: a Tenthredinid sawfly, probably a female Tenthredo maculata (Hymenoptera: Tenthredinidae).

I say it is probably a female because in male T. maculata the yellow abdominal  band is much larger (see near the foot of this page at Alain Ramel's Les Insectes site).
