A greater spotted woodpeck (Dendrocopos major) feeding its young in a nest hole on an oak tree.
I first heard the young twittering but didn't see the nest entrance until the adult flew to it.

A robin (Erithacus rubecula) with food, presumably for nestlings. In the UK robins lay their eggs from early March to June, and the eggs take 14 days to hatch.

What I think is a white-backed vulture, Gyps africanus. Similar to the griffon vulture, Gyps fulvus.

Red kites (Milvus milvus) over Chazey Wood. I often see one or two on my walks there but on this day there were eight. Earlier I had seen a buzzard high over Reading, and later on my walk I saw a kestrel in Chazey Wood itself.
