Tephritid Fly

Tephritid fly Goniglossum weidemanni (Diptera Tephritidae) on bryony (Bryonia dioica), the host plant for its larvae.  Lightly dusted with yellow pollen.

Photos taken in Whiteknights Park (actually on the fence alongside Whiteknights Road), Reading, UK, on 2012-07-07.
