The First Chicks of 2007 on the Reading University Lakes

The First Chicks of 2007!

Zoe and I went for a walk round the University lakes this morning, for the first time in weeks.  We were delighted to see that the pair of Egyptian geese had 8 very young looking goslings.  These are apparently the first pair of birds on the lakes to produce young this year.
