Tachinid Fly

A male Eurithia anthophila (Diptera: Tachinidae).  Identified using the key of Belshaw (1993).

It was on wild parsnip (Pastinaca sativa).

 

Specimen taken at Chazey Wood, near Caversham, UK, on 2014-08-09.
