Green Caterpillar

From early this February: a caterpillar, probably of the large yellow underwing moth, Noctua pronuba (Lepidoptera: Noctuidae).  This species overwinters as a caterpillar which comes out to feed on warm days.

Photo taken in Whiteknights Park, Reading, UK, on 2014-02-01.
