Moth

From last spring: a small moth, probably Esperia sulphurella (Lepidoptera: Oecophoridae).

I came across this moth just a few seconds after photographing this Incurvaria masculella and, initially, I assumed that it must belong to the same species, even though it had only one light spot rather than two.  However, on a closer look, I decided it must be a different species but, even then, it took me nearly a year before I discovered its true species.

Photos taken in Whiteknights Park, Reading University grounds, Reading, UK, on 2010-05-26.
