Lucerne

Lucerne (Medicago sativa), otherwise  known as alfalfa.  Rather like clover (Trifolium sp).

Weevil

Over the past few years I have often noticed these dusty yellowish-black weevils on the flower heads of spear thistles (Cirsium vulgare).  They are probably Rhinocyllus conicus (Coleoptera: Curculionidae).
