Tachinid Fly

DateTue 2012-10-02

A male Linnaemya picta (Diptera:Tachinidae).  Identification suggested by Steve 'sd' from the photo (see here) and confirmed by Chris Raper from an examination of the actual specimen (see here).

Captured in Whiteknight Park, Reading, UK, on 2012-09-28.
