Clusiid Fly

DateMon 2011-09-12

A small orange fly with several dark spots on its wings.  It was on a damp rotting log in beech woodland.  Identified by Piet Nord as Paraclusia tigrina (Diptera: Clusiidae).  It appears to be a female.
