Conopid Flies

A pair of Conopid flies, probably Conops quadrifasciatus (Diptera: Conopidae).  See here for my reasons for excluding the other Conops species that are found in the UK.

Photos taken in Whiteknights Park, Reading University grounds, Reading, UK, on 2011-07-23.
