Blue Beetles

From last Thursday: a pair of blue leaf beetles sunning themselves on a log beside the top lake.  This is a place where there was a tall stand of willow herb (Epilobium sp) last year. They are probably Altica sp (Coleoptera: Chrysomelidae), the same species I saw last year on willow herb the far end of the large lake.
