Spider Wasp

A black wasp, probably Pompilus cinereus (Hymenoptera: Pompilidae), a spider-hunting wasp.  See here for a different species of spider wasp that I had seen four weeks earlier.

Photo taken in Whiteknights Park, Reading, UK, on 2010-07-28.
