Puffball Fungus

Puffball fungus Lycoperdon pyriforme (= Morganella pyriformis) growing on a decaying log embedded in the leaf litter.  This was growing in the same place that I came across the same species back in February.

Photo taken in the Wilderness, Whiteknights Park, Reading University grounds, Reading, UK, on 2010-12-12.
