A caterpillar of the grey dagger moth, Acronicta psi (Lepidoptera: Noctuidae). I think it was on a type of oak (Quercus sp).

A female Anthomyia confusanea (Diptera: Anthomyiidae). Probable identification confirmed by Michael Ackland here at Diptera.info.
Darkened cross-veins on the wings and a yellowish patch on the upper part of the hind tibia.

A female Hybotid fly, probably Ocydromia glabricula (Diptera: Hybotidae). Hybotid flies are like tiny Empid flies.
