A long-bodied robber fly, probably a Leptogaster cylindrica (Diptera: Asilidae). Distinguished from Leptogaster guttiventris by the fact the dark line down the top of the abdomen in continuous rather than broken.

Longhorn beetle Rutpela maculata = Leptura maculata = Strangalia maculata (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae). The black and yellow markings on the wing cases vary quite a lot between individuals in this species.
