A male Phania funesta (Diptera: Tachinidae). Identified using Chris Raper's and Matt Smith's revision 5c of Belshaw's 1993 Key which was distributed for their Tachinid Workshop in February 2014.
[Initially I thought this was a female Freraea gagatea but the median vein is too bent for that species.]
Specimen taken in Whiteknights Park, Reading, UK, on 2014-07-26.
A male Bithia spreta (Diptera: Tachinidae). Identified using the key of Belshaw (1993).
A species that is new to me.

From two years ago: another male Chrysopilus, this time a Chrysopilus asiliformis (Diptera: Rhagionidae). These are actually quite small and could easily be mistaken for small gnats.

From last summer: a male Chrysopilus cristatus (Diptera: Rhagionidae).
