Leaf Beetle

A dark blue leaf beetle, probably Chrysolina oricalcia (Coleoptera: Chrysomelidae). The swollen first tarsi signify that this is a male.

A damsel bug, probably the common damsel bug Nabis rugosus (Hemiptera: Nabidae). In this species of damsel bug the wings do not quite reach the end of the abdomen.

A barkfly, probably Ectopsocus petersi (Psocoptera: Ectopsocidae), on a leaf of a poplar tree (Populus sp).

A metallic dark green hoverfly, probably a female Melanogaster sp (Diptera: Syrphidae). Initially I thought it was Lejogaster metallina but Roger Morris corrected me (see in the comments below).
