A cuckoo wasp, probably a Chrysis sp. (Hymenoptera: Chrysididae).

Skipper Butterfly

What I think is a large skipper butterfly, Ochlodes sylvanus = Ochlodes venatus faunus (Lepidoptera: Hesperiidae).  The following photo shows some of the pattern on the upper surface of the wing:

Froghopper

Another insect from back in May: red and black froghopper Cercopis vulnerata (Hemiptera: Cercopidae).

Yellow-Kneed Sawfly

From back in May: a black sawfly, probably a Dolerus sp (Hymenoptera: Tenthredinidae).  There are several Dolerus species with yellow knees like this: Dolerus gonager, Dolerus puncticollis and Dolerus vestigialis, but I don't know which this one is.
