Yet another Hoverfly

 A female Myathropa florea (Diptera: Syrphidae).  This species is fairly common at the moment.

Tephritid Fly

A female Urophora quadrifasciata (Diptera: Tephritidae) on a knapweed seed-head (Centaurea sp).  These flies are really quite small: I probably wouldn't notice them if it wasn't for the bold markings on the wings.
